The closure of Hawaii Medical Center, a Medicare and Medicaid-certified service provider for kidney and liver transplants, has prompted a House-Senate conference committee to meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday (Jan. 23) in Capitol Conference Room 229.
The agenda is a re-opening of House Bill 608, which would make an emergency appropriation of a dollar-for-dollar match with private funds to support a kidney and liver transplant provider in Hawaii.
