Freeway Crash Kills Honolulu Police Officer, 2 other people seriously hurt
Police say a Honolulu officer is dead following a three-vehicle crash on the H-1 freeway in Aiea.
Emergency officials say a pickup truck struck a police car on the side of the freeway and the impact sent the crashing into a parked pickup.
They say a 41-year-old man and a woman were taken in serious condition to the Queen’s Medical Center. The woman was a passenger in the parked truck.
