There are three meetings scheduled for today, and they’re all in the same room at the Mission Memorial building next to Honolulu Hale.

  • The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation‘s Finance Committee will meet at 8:30 a.m. The lone agenda item is “Change Control Process and Change Orders.”
  • HART’s board of directors meets at 10 a.m. The most interesting agenda item is “Presentation on Study of Fare Gate/Barrier-Free Entry Policy.”
  • The Zoning Board of Appeals meets at 12:30 p.m. The agenda includes a motion to dimiss the appeal of the Kyo-ya hotel redevelopment in Waikiki.

The last ZBA meeting two weeks ago was cancelled two weeks ago because the board couldn’t make quorum — a common problem over the past year. But reserves are now on the way.

Rebecca Copeland was confirmed by the Honolulu City Council Wednesday, and told Inside Honolulu she will “most likely” be attending today’s meeting.
