Hoku Corp, a local solar company that has been struggling for several years to build a polysilicon plant in Idaho, has taken out a line of credit from a Chinese bank.
The company can borrow up to $10 million, according to an SEC filing.
The company made news last month when a local utility company in Idaho threatened to cut its electricity if it didn’t pay its $1.9 million bill.
