Fewer federal officials are going to an annual airline-industry retreat in Hawaii, the Washington Post reports.

Even though private-sector groups pay for the five-day conference, which begins Sunday on the Big Island, some in the executive branch may be taking heed to President Barack Obama‘s directive about cutting expenses like travel.
