Sen. Daniel Inouye told a group of high school students in Jerusalem that the United States is “deeply concerned” about Iran and a possible attack on Israel, according to the Jerusalem Post.

“If the Iranians should ever develop a nuclear device or bomb, that could mean the end of the world as we know it in the Middle East,” Inouye reportedly said. “It would have an impact on all countries, not just Israel. Inouye was in Israel as part of a congressional delegation visiting that country along with TunisiaJordan, and Italy.
