Defense contractor Lockheed Martin has doled out nearly $23 million in political donations since 1989, according to the website Influence Explorer.

Among individual recipients (as opposed to political action committees), Sen. Daniel Inouye has received the ninth-biggest piece of that $23 million pie: $118,900.

Lockheed Martin has given more to Republicans over the years — 57 percent of its donations since 1989 went to support GOP candidates and committees. Inouye is one of four Democrats to rank in Lockheed Martin’s Top 10.
