Interview with Carlisle, Horner, Feds on Honolulu Rail

Read our breaking interview with Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle, HART board member Don Horner and Federal Transit Administration Administrator Peter Rogoff. The city officials met today with Rogoff for about 90 minutes to discuss how best to smooth the way for the rail project. For his part, Rogoff appeared optimistic that Honolulu would win approval for the project and about $1.5 billion in federal money.
