Kahikina Confirmed as DDC Chief

Lori Kahikina has just been confirmed as the new director of the city’s Department of Design and Construction without any objections or reservations.

Kahikina takes over for Collins Lam, who left the city at the end of the year.

She told Inside Honolulu last month that she anticipated no dramatic changes to the department’s mission.
