Les Kondo, executive director of the Hawaii State Ethics Commission, is the featured speaker at a “Democracy Under the Influence” monthly series that launches at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Richards Street YWCA.

Tonight’s talk is titled ”Ethics, Gifts & Fancy Dinners.”

The series is co-sponsored by Common Cause Hawaii, Kanu Hawaii and the League of Women Voters of Hawaii.
