It’s set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at the Leiopapa A Kamehameha Building.

The agenda includes discussion on status of HB 257 and any other related campaign finance bills which were submitted in the 2011 Legislative Session.

HB 257, which stalled last session but remains alive this session, would do the following:

Provides regulation of automated phone calls, changes report filing deadlines, provides a cap on the price of fundraiser tickets that may be purchased with campaign funds, and applies notice and disclaimer requirements to an advertisement that is not paid for by an independent party.
