A panel discussion is set for 7-9 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 18) at the Center for Hawaiian Studies Halau o Haumea, UH-Manoa to talk about this:

the history and future of Monsanto in Hawaii, and current debates about GMO food here, organic farming movements, and the $500,000 recently given by Monsanto to the UH CTAHR program to fund research and education.

The panel features Kamuela Enos of MA‘O Organic Farms, Trisha Kehaulani Watson of Honua Consulting and Molokai activist Walter Ritte. Professor Jon Osorio will moderate.
