Roger Christie and his longtime fiancee — and fellow defendant in a federal marijuana case — Share St. Cyr were married Jan. 6 at the Honolulu Federal Detention Center.

The unusual location disappeared momentarily as we held hands and gazed into each other’s eyes and shared our vows. Share looked like an angel to me, her eyes were so clear and beautiful to look into as her voice delivered words of love and support that went straight into my heart. The ceremony took me to a place of unknown emotions… with great promise for the future.
