House and Senate committees will convene at 3:30 p.m. in Capitol Room 312 on Thursday (Jan. 19) to do the following:

• update committee members on the status of the global aerospace market and Hawaii’s strategic scientific, educational and commercial opportunities in relation to this industry;

• provide a brief summary of priority programs currently being coordinated through the State’s Office of Aerospace Development that target these opportunities;

• discuss key goals for the 2012 Session.
