On their agenda this afternoon: a discussion of the population base and how things will have to be reconfigured in order to comply with the Supreme Court opinion.
People close to this important political action agree that its unlikely things will be straightened out by Feb. 1 when people can start filing to run for office. Legislative boundaries are supposed to be firmed up by then so people will know what district they now live in and thus what seat to file for.
