The Hawaii Health Department is about to ink an agreement with Tripler Army Medical Center by the end of the month — giving Oahu a second trauma center by mid-year.
KITV reports:
Under the agreement, Tripler would receive $350,000 in state funding annually to care for non-military patients at its trauma center, said Loretta Fuddy, state Health Department director.
