Those on hand to listen to Gov. Abercrombie deliver his 2012 State of the State address are his wife, Nancie Caraway, Lt. Gov. Brian Schatz, former Govs. George Ariyoshi, Ben Cayetano and his wife (whom Speaker Calvin Say called “vivacious) and John Waihee and his wife; all five Hawaii Supreme Court justices and Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle.

There are also assorted county council members, OHA Chair Colette Machado and various other officials.

Lots of lei all around. The House chamber smells fragrant.
