The president’s State of the Union address is set for Tuesday, Jan. 24, and some members of Congress are opting to find a “seating buddy” from across the aisle.

The bipartisan advocacy group No Labels reports that some lawmakers have already paired up. Some examples:

Alaska Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski plans to sit next to Colorado Democratic Sen. Mark Udall, and Pennsylvania Sens. Bob Casey (D) and Pat Toomey (R) will sit together.

No word yet on whether Hawaii’s all-Democratic delegation will pair up with GOP pals, but No Labels reports Rep. Colleen Hanabusa is “for” the idea (Hawaii’s three other congressional lawmakers are listed as “undecided”).

If it were up to you, which Republican seating buddies would you assign to sit next to Hawaii’s congresswomen and senators?
