Hawaii contracts with CCA to incarcerate some 1,800 local prisoners in Arizona facilities.
Details of the lawsuit, filed along with the Vermont-based legal nonprofit Human Rights Defense Center (publisher of Prison Legal News) and a San Francisco law firm, will be released at an 11 a.m. press conference outside 1st Circuit Court on Punchbowl Street.
