A Senate bill that would make it a misdemeanor to demonstrate disrespect of a house of the Hawaii Legislature was scheduled to be heard in Senate Public Safety Tuesday (Feb. 7). 

For some reason, though, it’s been pulled from the agendaThe House companion, meanwhile, has yet to be scheduled a hearing.

The bill has been dubbed the “anti-Mitch Kahle bill” by First Amendment activist Mitch Kahle.
