Champley Will Advance to Senate Confirmation

Gov. Neil Abercrombie will submit PUC Commissioner Michael Champley’s name to the Senate for confirmation, Donalyn Dela Cruz, the governor’s spokeswoman, told Civil Beat on Thursday. 

The news follows Civil Beat’s story published yesterday on concerns that the governor would not submit his name following conflicts between the PUC and his administration.
