Chihuahua Overtakes the Lab To Become Honolulu’s Top Dog

The small and mighty Chihuahua made the news this morning by surpassing the beloved Labrador Retriever to become Honolulu’s top dog according to the American Kennel Club’s (AKC®) 2011 ranking of the most popular dogs in the U.S.

“Honolulu is one of the few cities without the Lab in its top spot,” AKC Spokesperson Lisa Peterson told Market Watch.
