It’s the third time this month that’s happened to Occupy Honolulu, and, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, the number of items marked for removal has dropped each time — from 31 to 16 and now to seven.
Unlike previous occasions, there were no tents tagged for removal Tuesday. Many Occupy Honolulu members are taking their tents and most of their property with them when they leave the encampment and then returning with the items to gather or sleep.
Tables and plastic containers of goods were among the items tagged Tuesday. Also tagged was a bicycle owned by a man who identified himself as “Patches.”
In all, the city issued 79 removal notices yesterday at various locations around the island.
