It raised a lot of ire among parents in that community who feel school officials no longer put kids’ safety first.
It looks like a lot of people share that sentiment. Since that story came out, I’ve received several emails from parents and attorneys sharing stories that resulted in similar concerns. I’m working on a story to capture the bigger picture of what’s going on here in our schools to make students feel unsafe.
