If you received the invitation to a Wednesday fundraiser for Tammy Duckworth — who spent some of her childhood in Hawaii and is now running for Congress in Illinois — you may have noticed Rep. Colleen Hanabusa‘s name.

But you won’t see Hanabusa if you attend the fundraiser, which will be held at the National Democratic Club Townhouse in Washington, D.C.

A spokesman for the congresswoman told DC808 that Hanabusa agreed to have her name on the invitation as a way to show support, which is a common practice. The fundraiser is not a joint event, nor will any of the money raised go toward Hanabusa’s re-election campaign, he said.
