• Senate Judiciary will meet at 9:30 a.m. in Conference Room 016. The agenda includes a measure relating to probation for drug offenses.
• A House-Senate joint briefing will convene at 10 a.m. in Conference Room 229. The sole agenda item is for AG David Louie and DCCA’s Kealii Lopez to explain that $71 million settlement regarding foreclosure abuses and fraud during the housing crisis.
• Senate Human Services will meet at 1:25 p.m. in Conference Room 016. The agenda includes bills regarding human trafficking, sex offenders, domestic and child abuse.
• Two Senate committees will meet at 1:30 p.m. in Conference Room 224. The agenda includes one bill paying to preserve the Honouliuli internment campsite and another transferring property around Aloha Stadium to the HCDA.
• House Judiciary will meet at 2:05 p.m. in Conference Room 325. The agenda includes a constitutional amendment proposal authorizing the Legislature to deposit excess general fund revenues into a fund for pension benefits and other post-employment benefits for state employees.
House Judiciary will also consider a bill that requires employers to provide meal breaks for employees who work more than five hours a day.
