A selective list of bills and briefings Wednesday at the Capitol:

House Hawaiian Affairs will meet at 9 a.m. in Conference Room 329. The agenda includes a measure requiring DLNR to establish a East Honolulu fishpond heritage area.

Senate Economic Development will meet at 1:30 p.m. in Conference Room 016. The sole agenda item is a bill that makes cybersquatting a misdemeanor.

House Legislative Management will meet at 1:30 p.m. in Conference Room 423. The agenda includes bills on ethics and task force lobbyists, board members and the Sunshine Law and “diminishing” the state auditor’s salary.

Two House committees will meet at 2 p.m. in Conference Room 325. The agenda includes a bill regulating telecommunications and cable TV within the DCCA in order to promote broadband development.

Two Senate committees will meet at 2:45 p.m. in Conference Room 229. The agenda includes several bills concerning clean and sober homes and halfway houses.

Two Senate committees will meet at 2:45 p.m. in Conference Room 224. The agenda includes a measure regarding restrictions on harvesting opihi.

Senate Health will meet at 3:30 p.m. in Conference Room 229. The agenda includes a measure prohibiting a health care center or provider from discriminating against an HIV or AIDS patient in need of an organ transplant.
