A selective list of bills and briefings for Thursday at the Capitol:

• House Human Services will meet at 8:30 a.m. in Conference Room 329. The agenda includes a bill authorizing blind and visually impaired persons to apply for and obtain disability parking permits.

• House Public Safety will meet at 9 a.m. in Conference Room 309. The agenda includes bills regarding reforming the criminal justice system, a measure that concerns DLNR use of electric guns and a bill that gives preference to small business and veterans and disabled veterans in state procurement.

• Two House committees will meet at 11:15 a.m. in Conference Room 309. The agenda incudes a bill that would impose more requirements on medical marijuana use.

• Senate Tourism will meet at 1:15 p.m. in Conference Room 224. The agenda includes bills regarding the hotel tax and a measure that would give the Hawaii Tourism Authority $2 million to work on expanding visa programs.

• Two Senate committees will meet at 2:55 p.m. in Conference Room 225. There are two bills on the agendaone repealing the requirement that gasoline contain 10 percent ethanol, the other establishing a regulatory structure for an undersea power cable.
