A selective list of bills and briefings Tuesday at the Capitol:

House Finance will meet to discuss a proposal for a constitutional amendment that allows the Legislature to deposit excess general fund revenues into a fund for pension benefits and “other post-employment benefits” for state employees.

There are also quite a few bills regarding the Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund, including one that eliminates Medicare Part B reimbursements for employee-beneficiaries and spouses of employee-beneficiaries hired after June 30, 2012.

Another measure provides for the automatic deposit of general excise tax revenues into the EUTF “until such time that the trust fund’s unfunded actuarial accrued liability is fully amortized.”

House Finance will also meet to consider a bill paying for a medical residency program at UH Hilo, and another raising the marriage license fee from $60 to $100.

• And, House Finance — at this point in the session, the busiest of committees, eh? — will also look to tweak the law that called for a 5 percent decrease to legislative, executive and judicial salaries to resolve the ambiguity and concerns arising” from the law.
