The Hawaii State Board of Education is tabling talks about advertising in schools and on school campuses, Finance and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Wesley Lo says.

The proposed commercialism policy, which would have opened a new line of revenue for the Department of Education, drew a lot of criticism from parents and concern among board members.
