It was supposed to be yesterday, but it was postponed, so the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation board will meet today behind closed doors to talk about hiring a permanent chief.

Last week, HART leaders said they were on track in the executive search process. That means the list of applicants has been narrowed down to four or six finalists, who are in town for interviews and tours of the route.

A selection will be made soon, and will be rolled out March 1.
