Hirono Debuts TV Ads

A week after Ed Case unveiled his first TV ads, Mazie Hirono on Wednesday (Feb. 1)  released her first television ad, titled “Forward.”

The ad focuses on Mazie’s foresight in opposing the war in Iraq from the beginning, her steadfast opposition to the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy, and her ability to work with President Obama to move Hawaii and America forward. This distinguishes her from all other candidates in this race to represent Hawaii in the U.S. Senate.

The ad comes as a new Civil Beat poll shows the two Democrats in a virtual tie for the Aug. 11 primary.
