The HPD sergeant who struck a pedestrian while allegedly driving drunk this weekend has been put on leave, according to KHON.

Andrew Tsukano was arrested early Saturday morning for DUI, negligent injury. He refused to take a breathalyzer test. Tsukano, 57, was released pending investigation.
