Two assistant police chiefs on Kauai are on leave.

Kauai Police Chief Darryl Perry placed Assistant Chief Roy Asher and Assistant Chief Ale Quibilan on leave effective Tuesday.

The Garden Island newspaper reports the county is calling the move a personnel matter, and isn’t releasing details.
