Lingle: ‘I Want to be a Part of the Solution’

Republican U.S. Senate hopeful Linda Lingle touts her ability to cross the aisle in a video posted to YouTube on Thursday. 

“I want to be a part of the solution,” the former Hawaii governor said. “The solution means disregarding whose proposal it might be, and looking at the merits of the solutions.”

Also featured in the video, a message that’s emerging as a slogan of the Lingle campaign: “People first.”
