Newly elected Republic of Marshall Islands President Christopher Loeak and a delegation made an inaugural visit to Hawaii Thursday (Feb. 2).
The delegation met with Gov. Abercrombie and legislative leaders to discuss issues relating to the Compact of Free Association, which allows many Micronesians to live in work in Hawaii but has also led to a financial burden on some state services.
