Native Hawaiian Issues on PBS ‘Insights’

Host Dan Boylan welcomes Peter Apo, Office of Hawaiian Affairs trustee; Faye Hanohano, chair of House Hawaiian Affairs; Alapaki Nahale-a chair of the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands; and Keanu Sai, lecturer in political science, to tonight’s “Insights” on PBS.

Among the topics to be discussed Thursday (Feb. 2):

a homestead property tax exemption that faces potential scrutiny from the US Supreme Court; a settlement of past-due ceded land revenues between the Office of Hawaiian Affairs and the state; and OHA’s legislative package that proposes ten other measures to address a range of Native Hawaiian issues.
