The White House routinely shares photos of the president’s travels. In a Monday email, officials featured this shot of Barack Obama and first dog Bo aboard Air Force One during a flight to Hawaii before Christmas:

Here’s another photo from the flight to Hawaii — the youngsters in this image are Nicky DeParle and Zachary DeParle, sons of Nancy-Ann DeParle, deputy policy chief of staff.

On Christmas eve, Obama telephoned 10 American service members stationed around the world from his vacation rental home in Kailua. In the background, White House Communications Agency staffers coordinate calls (props to Lt. Col. Sam Price for rocking an aloha shirt).
