OHA’s Second Round of Kakaako Meetings

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs has scheduled a second round of statewide public meetings on a proposed settlement that would exchange state-owned Kakaako makai land for past-due ceded-land revenue payments.

The meetings begin in Lihue, Kauai, Saturday (Feb. 4) and conclude Feb. 18 in Lanai City, Lanai. Click here for more information.

Meanwhile, legislation approving the deal is pending before Hawaii lawmakers.
