• Attending Bible study with Chaplain Barry Black.

• Attending a Democratic policy luncheon.

• Chairing a Senate Indian Affairs Committee hearing about energy issues.  

Like Reps. Colleen Hanabusa and Mazie Hirono, Akaka is heading to Hawaii during the congressional recess next week.
