Letters from Hawaii’s last queen signed “Your affectionate cousin, Liliuokalani” are for sale. Hawaii News Now reports that two letters are dated October 18 and October 28, 1897. Bishop Museum historian De Soto Brown told the news station there’s no reason to doubt they came from the queen’s hand.
The letters are addressed to “Cousin William,” — William Lee, a famous Boston bookseller and publisher. Read more in civilbeatentertainment.
