Report: Hawaii’s High School Science Standards Almost Failing

Hawaii’s public school science standards get a ‘D’ from the D.C.-based Thomas B. Fordham Institute in a its “State of State Science Standards 2012” report released this week.

Although the standards for elementary grades get good marks, the high school material is “woefully inadequate,” the report says.
