Senate Honors SPAM Can Designer

The state Senate on Wednesday (Feb. 8) officially recognized and congratulated Mililani resident Scott Kaneshiro for winning a contest to design a Special Hawaii Edition SPAM can label.

Hormel Foods was looking for an artist from Hawaii to create a customized package.  Kaneshiro’s design is titled “Shaka SPAM Musubi No Ka Oi” — on sale in island stores since August.
