Certain teacher evaluation models are so specific about what skills teachers must exhibit when, that evaluators feel they don’t accurately reflect a teacher’s abilities.

It should be no question at this point that teachers, like other professionals, deserve thorough evaluations at least annually. What those evaluations look like, though, is still up for discussion, especially in Hawaii where lawmakers are determined to implement them within the next two years.
