The Board of Education has a full agenda for its general business meeting today, with lots of hot topics:

  • Principal and teacher performance evaluations;
  • Performance pay;
  • A policy on commercialism (i.e. advertisements) in schools;
  • A proposal to grant voting rights to the board’s student representative.

Not all of these are up for a vote today, but the discussions are usually lively.

We’ll be there live blogging.  The meeting will start at 2:15 p.m., or as soon as the board gets out of its executive session.
