The single biggest contribution to federal races from a Hawaii donor amounted to $30,800 from Angus Mitchell of Honolulu, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. He gave to DNC Services Corp. aka the Democratic National Committee.

The OpenSecrets site allows you to search political donations to 2012 elections by state, and sort them by amount, name or date. The results are color-coded to highlight money to PACs, Super PACs, candidates and parties.
