President Barack Obama‘s $3.8 trillion spending plan shows that in 10 years, the national debt will be $1 trillion higher than previously expected, according to The Washington Post.
Last fall, Obama said he would keep year-to-year deficits below $600 billion, but the new 10-year budget request includes yearly deficits above $600 billion (except for in 2018), the newspaper reports.
