WaPo Singles Out Lingle as ‘Winner’

The Washington Post lists former Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle as one of the winners in fourth-quarter fundraising.

Lingle raked in nearly $1.8 million last quarter. The newspaper points out that Lingle has “an uphill battle,” despite the impressive numbers she posted in the three-month period that ended Dec. 31. 

Some of the other “winners” on the list: President Barack Obama; GOP Super PACs; Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren; and a long list of Democratic challengers in House races.
