Waipahu Weed and Seed, along with the state Department of Public Safety, will present an informational session Tuesday (Feb. 21) regarding offender reentry. It begins at 5 p.m. at New Hope Leeward, 94-050 Farrington Hwy., Waipahu

The initiative is designed to reclaim, restore and rebuild neighborhoods, by “weeding” out the criminal element, then “seeding” the community with services that support neighborhood revitalization.
