Ben Cayetano is making the rounds as he rolls out his run for mayor. Today, you can find him on the cover of the Honolulu Weekly.

The cover story is a Q&A. There’s nothing new in there for you if you’ve been following the rail lawsuit or mayoral politics for the past month.

The interviewer (unidentified in the online version) poses a couple of decent questions, but the last few are pretty soft. Two, for example, delve into Cayetano’s book and his feelings on the term “game-changer” (which doubles as the piece’s headline).

The last query in particular leaves something to be desired: ”Do you think as Mayor you can restore hope and the sense of a shared future for Honolulu?”
